Look at the garden table. In June it was honey coloured, today it is grey. It’s not dirty and it’s not old age: it’s the sun. UV rays degrade lignin, the part of wood that gives color and compactness. Then the summer storms arrive, the water enters the dry fibers and the wood dries out,…

Soon we will enter the height of summer and then, without realizing it, autumn arrives with rain and humidity. It’s time to close the iron works, not postpone them. Railings, gates, garden furniture: with IRONVIV you protect them from rust and restore them with a wrought iron effect, working with a brush and in a…

Summer closure 🌞 Vivcolor stops from Thursday 6th to Wednesday 26th August. We reopen on Thursday 27th with the warehouse full. For orders and supplies before the break: write to us by Tuesday 4 August, so we have time to ship everything. Happy holidays 🎨 Follow Vivcolor on Facebook

A rusty gate is not a gate to throw away. Often the right product is enough to bring it back to better conditions than when it was new. With IRONVIV, iron marked by time changes its face: the micaceous enamel covers the marks, uniforms the surface and gives it the wrought iron effect, while the…

If you have an iron work to refurbish, be it a railing, a gate or garden furniture, IRONVIV is the product designed to do it well: micaceous iron effect, high passivation, rapid drying, brush application. It is available in the chrome and micaceous iron color chart. Technical data sheets, color chart and product information: vivcolor.com.…

There is the idea that painting iron properly is workshop stuff: equipment, spray, booth. For railings, gates and garden furniture, however, much less is often enough. IRONVIV is applied with a brush. It is single-component: you open it and use it, without hardeners to dose. And the micaceous effect is “forgiving”: it masks small imperfections…

One of the reasons we put off painting iron is time. The railing that remains cordoned off, the gate that cannot be closed, the garden furniture out of use while the paint dries. IRONVIV is a fast-drying enamel: it reduces the time between one coat and another and allows you to finish the job without…

Iron doesn’t rust by accident. All it takes is moisture and oxygen in contact with bare metal, and corrosion begins to work beneath the surface, often before you can even see it. Passivation is the defense: a layer that isolates the iron from the agents that attack it. IRONVIV is indicated precisely where high passivation…

Iron garden furniture lives outdoors all year round and pays the price: rain, humidity, sun. At the beginning of summer, tables, chairs, planters and structures show signs of wear, and it’s the perfect time to put them back in order. IRONVIV dries quickly and is applied with a brush: ideal for small pieces and for…

In the summer you can see all the external iron: the rust that emerges on the balcony railing, the gate that has lost its color, the places where the old paint is peeling. And it is precisely now, with good weather and dry surfaces, that it is best to intervene. IRONVIV is designed exactly for…

It’s called the micaceous effect, but many know it as “wrought iron” or “antiqued”. It is that material, slightly polished finish that gives depth to the surface and makes the metal look hand-crafted. It’s not just aesthetics. IRONVIV combines this aspect with real protection of the iron: the micaceous enamel forms a layer that defends…

Railings, gates, garden furniture: over time the iron in the house becomes opaque, marked and loses character. The classic paint job covers it, but often flattens it and takes away its personality. There is another way to refurbish it. IRONVIV is a micaceous enamel that does more than just protect: it gives the surface the…

ACRIVIV HS DTM is a product that makes sense to try directly on the job. No technical description explains well how much a painting cycle changes when the primer phase is eliminated, it is something that can be seen best on the first piece in the booth. Our agents can evaluate with you whether the…

In production, color is never a detail. Every customer, every order, every installation environment requires a precise colour, and often it is not one of the most widespread. Having a single reliable formulation and being able to decline it in any RAL is a concrete simplification of the warehouse and the work cycle. ACRIVIV HS…

HS means High Solid. In practice: a paint with a higher dry content than a standard formulation. For the same kilo applied, a greater portion remains on the piece as a protective film, a smaller portion evaporates as a solvent. For those who work in industrial body shops and high-volume workshops this means three things:…

In industrial bodywork, line times are the main constraint. Chassis, bodies, frames for special setups: each vehicle arrives in the cabin with a precise machining program and a window that does not widen. On surfaces of this size, the primer phase is not trivial: thicknesses to be respected, waiting between hands, product consumed. And it…

A two-component product is a nail polish that, before use, is mixed with a hardener. The reaction between the two components produces a film that is more cross-linked, harder and more resistant to chemical agents and mechanical wear than a single-component enamel. For carpentry that works in aggressive, external environments, contact with detergents, parts subjected…

Gates, railings, shelving, frames: the metal carpentry undergoes painting in batches and with tight deadlines. Often there is a piece that needs to be assembled on site at the beginning of the week, and in the workshop the processing window is just a few hours. Under these conditions every phase of the cycle counts. Apply…

ACRIVIV HS DTM is a two-component acrylic enamel with direct adhesion to metal. It means only one thing, concretely: it is applied to bare metal, without primer, and arrives at the finish in one coat. It works on steel, iron, galvanized sheets, light alloys such as aluminium. Two-component, high solid, glossy finish, designed for those…

Painting metal in production means repeating the same cycle every time: apply the primer, wait for it to dry, return to the piece for finishing. A consolidated procedure, but also a machine time that is paid for each batch. In many uses on carpentry, frames and components, the adhesion primer phase has become more of…

Leaving the raw concrete thinking that “it holds up anyway”. Concrete is porous. It absorbs water, becomes stained, and crumbles with freeze and thaw cycles. An unprotected outdoor floor has a shorter life than you think. CLOROVIV creates a protective barrier that seals the surface, protects it from water and makes it easier to keep…

You’ve had the outdoor floor redone and after one winter it’s already stained, discolored or peeling. Rain, frost, sun and continuous foot traffic: external concrete surfaces suffer everything, all year round. CLOROVIV protects outdoor floors with a semi-gloss chlorinated rubber finish that resists atmospheric agents and wear from trampling. It’s not just an aesthetic treatment:…

Some facilities cannot afford downtime. Cranes working in the port, bridges exposed to salt, pipes in chemical plants that never stop. Maintenance on these surfaces must be effective and long-lasting, because redoing the work is not an option. CLOROVIV adheres to metal and concrete, resists atmospheric and chemical agents, and maintains the finish over time.…
