The reaction between the two components produces a film that is more cross-linked, harder and more resistant to chemical agents and mechanical wear than a single-component enamel. For carpentry that works in aggressive, external environments, contact with detergents, parts subjected to stress, this difference is seen over time. The film does not peel, does not change color, and the adhesion to the support remains solid during thermal and mechanical cycles.
