Every year the same story: stripping, sanding, repainting. And the next year the paint peels off again. If you recognize yourself, the problem is not your manual skills. It’s the type of product. Film-forming paints create a film over the wood. But outdoor wood moves: it expands with the heat, shrinks with the cold. The film, on the other hand, is rigid: it cracks, water seeps underneath and it is only a matter of time for it to detach. Multiple coats of paint don’t solve the problem: they redo the same film that just peeled off. The solution is to change logic: not to cover the wood but to impregnate it. On Thursday we’ll show you the difference. In the meantime, if you want to understand what product is on your wood, write to us: we’ll understand it together. #VivColor #DECORVIV #peeling #external wood #maintenance #painting
